One City, One Book: Nashua Reads Zorro

On behalf of the City of Nashua, I invite you to participate in the fifth annual One City, One Book program. For 2007, I am pleased to announce that the book is Zorro by Isabel Allende. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this swashbuckling adventure story that reveals how Diego de la Vega became the masked man we all know so well.

Zorro was chosen for the One City, One Book program by a committee with representatives from the Nashua Public Library and local colleges, newspapers, bookstores, and other community groups.

You can check out copies of the book at your library or purchase it at Borders, Annie’s Bookstop, or Barnes & Noble, all in Nashua. Please talk about it with your friends, coworkers, and neighbors, and then attend the book discussions and other programs planned for the spring of 2007. Look for more information on these programs from the library and local newspapers over the next few months.

We hope that sharing our impressions on a common book will once again help to strengthen our community. I hope that you will participate by reading the book and attending the programs this spring.
