The library offers free public notary services during most of our hours of operation.
Please call the library at 603-589-4600 to confirm that one of our notaries will be available before coming to the library; there may be times when the library is too busy to provide this service or when a notary is not in the building.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when bringing items to be notarized:
Our notaries can't help you fill out documents; they should be filled out but not signed before you bring them in to be notarized.
All signers and witnesses must be present and will be required to present valid photo identification.
Our notaries are busy with their primary library tasks, so there are some things that they will not be able to notarize for you. Please check this list of items that can't be notarized at the library before bringing in your documents.
Remember that notaries are not lawyers. They can't offer legal advice!
