Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan

Frequently when we don’t have the book or film or magazine that you are looking for we can get it from another library in NH or across the country. You can search for materials owned by other New Hampshire libraries just by searching NHAIS ILL System. If you still don’t see what you are looking for please click here to fill out our Interlibrary Loan form or contact the Information Services desk by phone at 589-4611, via email at ill@nashualibrary.org, or stop by in person so they can widen the search!

Fees:

There is no charge for items borrowed from other NH libraries, which are delivered by van. Items that are borrowed from outside NH come by mail, and patrons are responsible for paying return postage and any additional fees charged by the lending library.

Conditions:

  • You may have up to three active interlibrary loan requests at a time. This number includes any items that you returned to the library which are still being processed.
  • We cannot borrow items less than six months old; instead you may suggest them for purchase using our online form.
  • If you need multiple copies of a book for your book group please contact us directly at the phone number or email listed below.
  • Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your item to arrive.

Questions? Please call the Information Services desk at 603-589-4611 or e-mail us at ill@nashualibrary.org.
