Teens, college students, and adults interested in local volunteer and internship opportunities, whether for the summer or year-round, should come to the Volunteer Fair at the Nashua Public Library on Thursday, June 1, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Over 20 nonprofit agencies will be on hand to talk to you about how you can give back to your community through volunteering.
Whether you want to build a garden, mentor a child, help out at SummerFun events, or do other meaningful work, you can sign up that night.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the library’s Adult Summer Reading program. All across the nation this year, libraries are presenting programs based on the summer reading theme, Build a Better World.
More information about Nashua’s Adult Summer Reading program will be available soon at tinyurl.com/adultsr2017.
