- The library’s new bike repair station has tools, an air pump, and hanger arms to allow wheels to spin freely during repairs.
Now you can pump up your tires and make other repairs to your bicycle when you visit the Nashua Public Library.
Today a Dero Fixit bike repair station was installed outside on the Library Plaza. It includes all the tools necessary to perform basic bike repairs and maintenance, from changing a flat to adjusting brakes and derailleurs. Also included is an air pump for filling tires and hanger arms that allow pedals and wheels to spin freely while you make adjustments.
If you make use of the station, thank the Friends of the Nashua Public Library, who provided the funds for its purchase.

In other bicycle-related library news, on Sunday, September 25, John Burkitt and other volunteers from Let’s Put People on Bikes will provide free minor repairs and adjustments to help you get your bicycle back on the road. They’ll adjust brakes and shifters, pump up tires, and replace tubes. Service will be first come, first served from 1 pm to 4 pm.
