Hours expand, fines return, meeting rooms reopen

Three big changes are coming to the library, all taking effect September 7:

Evening and Sunday hours are back

Here’s the new schedule as of September 7:
• Monday–Thursday: 10 am–9 pm
• Saturday: 10 am–2 pm
• Sunday: 1 pm–4 pm, except for some holiday weekends. Curbside pickup won’t be available on Sundays.

On Fridays the building will be closed, but we’ll be here to answer the phone, email, and chat.

Fines return

Fines for overdue items, which we suspended during the pandemic, will resume starting September 7. Now is the time to check in the trunk of your car, under the bed, or in the toy box for past-due items!

You can return items to the book drops on Court Street and in the library parking lot, or bring them into the building.

Meeting rooms reopen

Groups can book our meeting rooms now for meetings on September 7 or later. Starting September 7, individuals will be able to reserve the small rooms for individual study. Check our meeting room page for more information.
