The Telegraph, the League of Women Voters NH – Greater Nashua, and the Nashua Public Library will sponsor several forums this fall at the library to help you make informed decisions when you vote in the November 7 municipal election. Compare the candidates as they discuss the issues and answer your questions.
The forums, which are free and open to the public, will be moderated by members of the League of Women Voters NH.
All the forums will be conducted in a traditional question/answer format with questions about a broad array of topics city issues. Members of the audience will be able to submit questions for the candidates in writing at the events.
The schedule is as follows:
Aldermen-at-Large
- Thursday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m. At the beginning of this forum, the candidates for Board of Public Works will each give a brief statement.
Board of Education
- Thursday, October 26, at 6:30 p.m.
Ward Aldermen
Each of the ward aldermen forums will include the candidates from three Nashua wards.
- Wards 1–3: Wednesday, November 1, at 6:30 pm
- Wards 4–6: Wednesday, September 27, at 6:30 pm
- Wards 7–9: Wednesday, October 25, at 6:30 pm
