Tolonda Henderson will present “When Fandom Wears a Cap and Gown: Academic Perspectives on Harry Potter” on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Nashua Public Library.
Fans of Harry Potter have created everything from handicrafts and artwork to websites and conventions. What happens, though, when those fans have advanced degrees and apply the questions of their academic disciplines to Harry’s story? Explore scholarship on the books and find out how academics have drawn upon them as inspiration for their own writings.
The program is free and open to the public.
