The City of Nashua is looking to renovate the Nashua Public Library Plaza in preparation for the library’s 50th anniversary in 2021. The public is invited to view the final plans on Wednesday, July 17, at 6 pm in the Large Meeting Room at the library.
CRJA, the firm selected to design the renovation, presented preliminary design options to the public in May.
The goal is to make the space between the library and the 14 Court Street theater an attractive, inviting public space that serves the library and the community in the heart of Nashua’s downtown with outdoor performances, recreation, and other programming.
Once complete, the courtyard will provide a quality, cost-effective, low-maintenance space for the community to enjoy. The plan should improve public safety and highlight the connectivity between the buildings and nearby parking lots and Riverwalk.
