Summer concert season begins July 12

Nashua Public Library summer concerts are back in full force this year, starting with a Bach’s Lunch Concert featuring solo pianist Gregg Pauley on Wednesday, July 12.

Bach’s Lunch Concerts, mostly classical, are held in the library’s newly renovated Chandler Memorial Wing on Wednesdays at 12 noon from July 12 through August 23. Here’s the lineup:

  • July 12: Pianist Gregg Pauley
  • July 19: Fin de Siecle string quartet
  • July 26: Symphony New Hampshire Chamber Players
    Pianist Rasa Vitkauskaite

    Pianist Rasa Vitkauskaite will perform on August 16 at 12 noon.

  • August 2: Soprano Rebecca Haines
  • August 9: Boston Ballet Saxophone Quartet
  • August 16: Pianist Rasa Vitkauskaite
  • August 23: Fred Moyer Jazz Trio

The library also hosts Summer Concerts on the Plaza on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Grab a blanket or a lawn chair, bring a picnic, and chill out to these acts:

  • July 13: Marc Berger Band (folk/Americana)
  • July 20: Branches Steel Drum Orchestra
  • July 27: Veronica Robles Mariachi Band
  • August 3: Heather Pierson Acoustic Trio
  • August 10: Jason Annick Gypsy Jazz Trio
  • August 17: Low Lily Trio (formerly Annalivia)

In the event of rain, Summer Concerts on the Plaza are held inside the library.
