No matter how old you are, you can join a Nashua Public Library summer reading program and win prizes as you read. The programs open on June 21.

Kids Summer Reading

The theme of the Kids’ Summer Reading Program is “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” Among the events scheduled are a magic show, a library-athalon, Frisbee decorating, and more. Register for these events at www.tinyurl.com/nplkid. Each week from June 21 to August 25, children can win prizes for reading. Pick up a reading log at the library starting June 21.

Teen Summer Reading

“Get in the Game—Read” is the theme of the Teen Summer Reading Program. The events for students entering grades 6 through 12 begin with a kickoff concert and field day on June 22, followed by something going on almost every weekday until August 22. Not only will teens earn prizes as they log the books they read, they will be raising money for Special Olympics New Hampshire. To get all the details and sign up, go to www.tinyurl.com/tsr2016.
