Take Podcasts 101, Sept. 15

If you have never listened to a podcast, and you’re not quite sure what all the hype is about, don’t be embarrassed—you’re not the only one! Come to the Nashua Public Library on Sunday, September 15, at 2 pm to get up to speed at “Podcasts 101: What They Are, Why We Listen, and What You’ll Like.”

Librarian Margaret H. Willison, a podcast addict and podcast maker, will talk about why people listen to podcasts, which ones you might like and where to find more. From goofy comedy to in-depth news analysis, there’s a podcast out there for every taste.

Willison is known for her work on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour and her own podcast, Appointment Television.

If you’ve never listened to a podcast, come early at 1:30 pm and our reference librarians will show you how to get started. Bring your phone, tablet or laptop.
