Now that the SAT is the statewide assessment for 11th graders, high school juniors should take a look at the Testing and Education Reference Center on the Nashua Public Library’s website.
The center offers three different SAT practice tests and five online books about taking the SAT.
It also offers a personalized online SAT prep course. After students take a pretest, the course presents lessons based on the results, providing what they need and skipping what they don’t. There are short, medium, and full-length options so they can get the most out of the course, no matter how close it is to test day.
The Testing and Education Reference Center also contains interactive games and activities to build math, critical reading, and writing skills as well as 400 electronic vocabulary flashcards.
Students need Nashua Public Library cards to use the Testing and Education Reference Center, except when working on library computers. To access the center, go to nashualibrary.org/explore/elearning.
