Volunteers are needed to help answer phone calls from people with questions about signing up for the free tax-filing service provided by VITA volunteers.
Volunteers will work in the Nashua Public Library, explaining to callers how to obtain virtual tax assistance. They will also book appointments online for callers and email documents to them.
Shifts are:
- 10 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
- 2:30 pm to 7 pm Monday through Friday
- 10 am to 1:30 pm Saturday
When you sign up for a shift, you will be scheduled to work that shift every week through April 14. For example, if you sign up for 10 am to 2:30 pm on Wednesdays, you will work every Wednesday through April 14.
Volunteers will be provided with a laptop with Wi-Fi access while working.
Sign up on the United Way of Greater Nashua website. If you have questions about this volunteer opportunity, contact the United Way by emailing Sara Ceaser or calling 603-438-2173.
