Winter reading challenges

Mayor's winter reading challengeCozy up to a book this winter! Just like during our summer reading programs, from December 20 to February 28 you’ll be able to earn badges and raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes as you read.

Kids from kindergarten to grade 8 are invited to join the Mayor’s Winter Reading Challenge. Grade 9 to adult  can participate in  the library’s own reading program, Long Winter Read. Both of these programs will use the library’s Beanstack app. Details are available at nashualibrary.beanstack.org.

There’s a hashtag for that

Share your progress in the program with your friends on social media using #WinterRead2020.

Join the readathon

Come to a readathon at the library on Saturday, December 28, from 1 pm to 5 pm. In addition to racking up reading minutes toward prizes, you’ll be able to “read off” some of your overdue fines.

Busy that day? The Arlington Street Community Center will host another readathon on Saturday, February 22, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The more you read, the more badges and raffle tickets you earn, so get started today!
